Nintendo prepara um gigante para encarar GTA 6
How awesome, guys. How great it is to play video games in 2026. Nintendo hooked us up to end the week in the happiest way possible. The one closest to challenging GTA 6 for GOTY, Zelda Ocarina Remake, will have its own dedicated Nintendo Direct. We have the date, the time, the estimated duration, all official info from Nintendo, and there’s a double feature, actually; the next day there will be another Nintendo Direct. And with other Nintendo announcements, many people are speculating out there, Luigi’s Mansion 4, new 3D Mario, it’s about time, right? Nintendo’s last one was Super Mario Odyssey. So, guys, in this video, I’m a Nintendo fan. Let’s go.
Talk, Mica.
Greetings, greetings, guys. How is your hype today? Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, or good night to you as well. I am Bruno Micali and you are on Fala Mica. Welcome, a very warm welcome to my channel. I appreciate everyone’s presence. I humbly ask you who made it here, leave a cheeky like down below, subscribe to the channel, turn on the bell, quick things that help me a lot here, right?
Enable that bell so you don’t miss any notifications and let the hype show if it appears in any way for you there, okay? In case you met me on Flow Games or if you were already following my work here on YouTube, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Guys, Nintendo Direct, okay? I have X open right here. Nintendo posted on social media, right, on X, on Instagram. So I’ll put the image on the screen, okay? Without further ado. Let’s see the official information here, okay? Released just now on this Friday, September 4th, 2026. There are two Directs, one of them dedicated to Ocarina of Time Remake, there will be gameplay, there will be a trailer for the live-action movie coming out, and the next day we’ll have a Nintendo Direct with other announcements. How awesome, guys. Let’s see. Look at that, look, guys. Here it is, Nintendo Brazil official account. Join us next week for two Nintendo Direct presentations, The Legend of Zelda, 40th anniversary. Guys, there will be stuff, Nintendo is going to celebrate, this age is very iconic, right? Direct dedicated to Zelda on September 8th, Tuesday, at 11 AM, Brasília time, with about 30 minutes, half an hour of content for a game, for a franchise, I mean, that’s a nice amount of time. All right, guys? So let’s head to the Nintendo Direct on September 9th, Wednesday, the following day, also at 11:00 AM Brasília time, lasting about 45 minutes. Here is Nintendo’s image, and let’s go in with high expectations. Folks, remember everyone, in a comment right below. And here’s a tip for you as well: for those who enjoy Nintendo news, Nintendo franchises, right, who have a Switch or Switch 2, there’s the Nintendo Today app that you can download on your phone. It’s free, you log in with your Nintendo account and you receive information, a news feed, let’s say, just for Nintendo stuff, right? It even has several little things, several tidbits that they release only there, right? Some benefits there for those who are part of the Nintendo ecosystem, right? So, it’s worth it, right? Nintendo Today. They even mention that you can watch these two broadcasts properly through the app, right? In addition, of course, to YouTube, right?
And I invite all of you who follow me here on my channel to be at Flow Games. Whoever wants to, of course, I’ll be there, we’ll be there. These are going to be two very important days. Nintendo is very consistent in releasing exclusives. I’ve talked about this many, many times here. You who follow my work know what I think about exclusive games as a way to reinforce, right, the brand’s portfolio, as a way to sell that ecosystem, right? People can only buy it in that place, they go to that ecosystem. So, it’s part of a market strategy to have exclusives, and it’s also part of the brand’s identity, right? So, Nintendo, in my opinion, is the strongest at this, but much more so Nintendo compared to PlayStation and Microsoft; both PlayStation and Microsoft still need to eat a lot of “rice and flour,” as I like to say. It’s not “rice and beans,” no. It’s “rice and flour,” which is supposed to be something dry, for you to really improve, for you to, anyway, absorb this and always evolve as much as possible. So, I’m talking about the brands, everyone seeks this evolution, and video game brands do too. Nintendo came before PlayStation and Xbox, right? So, of the iron trio, right, currently in the industry, the most, let’s say, traditional, traditionalist video game brand of them is Nintendo, right, guys. That’s just a fact, right? With that consistency they have in exclusives. You see, this year we had the Yoshi game, there’s Fire Emblem coming now, which is huge. Yeah, there was Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, right, on the Switch, not that long ago, a game, guys, Donkey Kong Bananza, right, released with Mario Kart World, a new Mario Kart. If you look at this one year and two months of the Switch 2, the amount of exclusives there are, man, there was the new Hyrule Warriors, right, which was Age of Imprisonment. So, look, guys, it’s a lot of games, it’s a lot of exclusive games you have in a window of a year and a bit already just on the Switch 2. If you, if you take the entire Switch library, my friend, it makes for a video of, I don’t know, a hundred, it exceeds a hundred games, okay? A hundred you only find on the Switch.
No, it’s the console that sells the fastest, it explodes, and in Japan it keeps exploding and is insanely popular. Always very positive reports there on console sales that Nintendo manages thanks to this strategy it established with its fans. So, we will have an age, as I’ve already mentioned, that’s very iconic, 40 years of Zelda, guys. I love the Zelda franchise. Ocarina of Time is very important to me. I’ve already made a video about it here, you guys who follow me know, expressing that. My connection with Zelda when I played it, when I was a kid, and it was during vacation, I was still, we didn’t know English well, I didn’t know English well. So, Zelda, guys, it’s… it’s so iconic to me, so important, that if I stop to think beyond the game, right? Beyond the epic that Link lives there with Zelda, beyond the time travel, beyond all the imagination that we, when we are children, teenagers, have, right? It feels like many books I read when I was a kid, I went to play Zelda and I saw that materialized in front of me, you know? It’s the hero’s journey materialized in front of you, right? The hero’s journey in its tale, in its most classic, most literary form, I would even say, only adapted for video games, that’s Zelda, right?
The hero’s journey raw and pure, so, and in its most traditional and classic form, right? So, guys, Zelda is important to me on many layers, beyond the game itself, with everything I said, right? Gameplay mechanics, the story, uh, the items you keep picking up, right? The owl, the open world, back when we didn’t even have a concept of open world, because if you stop to think, Hyrule, when you explore, is an open place, you have freedom of movement, right, as you please. Of course, in certain sections you have to follow a specific path defined by the game, but you have freedom of movement, you can do a lot of things out of order. You go to Lon Lon Ranch, then you go to Kakariko Village, right? You go back to the beginning, revisit the Deku, right, the Great Deku Tree. So Zelda, if you stop to think, it’s just that we didn’t have the concept of open world like we do today, but it’s an open game, actually since the very first one on the NES. If we stop to go back even further in time, we already find a concept of multidirectional exploration there, right? But Ocarina of Time took that into 3D masterfully, right, guys? So it is extremely important for the video game industry. A revolutionary game, it holds, it still holds the highest average on Metacritic with a 99. No game has surpassed it. I know the world was different. I know there were far fewer reviewers analyzing it. I know. Is it fair to compare it to the current world? But anyway, it’s an iconic game, it’s a work of art, and we will have a remake of this work that has been so revered across so many generations of video games. Generations have passed, right? It might have its mechanics that, over time, camera, anyway, there’s that generational aspect where today you see it belongs to that era, right, folks? A Nintendo 64 game. So you will feel, of course, some things, but this game is timeless, because I see new generations of gamers, and, well, old generations too. I’m a 39-year-old guy, my generation, this game crosses generations, right? This game is timeless. So, guys, if there is anyone, as I usually say, as I’ve already mentioned here, to rival my hype for GTA 6, that someone is called Zelda Ocarina of Time, the remake of this game, of this masterpiece, because I will reconnect with my entire childhood, with a game that taught me so many things. As I was saying, beyond the game itself, there’s the language. I can attribute much of my English language learning to Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I would grab a dictionary and read all the words I didn’t know, whose meanings I didn’t know. I remember that, like, my older cousin, you know, back then, when he went to my house to play, I asked him to translate for me: “Like, hey, what are they saying here with this word?””I don’t really know that expression.” I even called my mom to help me understand some things in English. So, this game has text, right, it has dialogues with text for you to read, right?
And it’s very important to understand what is being said, especially in the temples, right? Because there are a lot of puzzles and little things for you to understand there. I’m not even saying mostly in the temples, you know? Actually, the temple is more about puzzle-solving and stuff, it’s more environmental, right? But in the world, to know where to go, you had to be guided a lot by what the characters were saying, right? So this game is very important on several levels for me, right? Regarding exploration, the gameplay with that combat, with Z-targeting, right? Where you circle the enemy. It came a lot from Zelda: Ocarina of Time, didn’t it, guys? The way you control the character, the way you use and manage your items, the way the narrative is told, and how you need to know English, because back then there wasn’t any. Now, today, things—including this remake—are all coming in Portuguese, right guys, but back then, no. So, I learned a lot of English throughout my life beyond that, right? I went to English school, eventually I went to Cultura Inglesa, but games and Zelda were very important in that process. That’s why I hold so much affection for this game, and it easily competes for, like, my hype of the year with GTA 6. Of course, GTA 6 is madness. You who follow me know that I have this obsession, and it’s a new game, whether you like it or not, right? This one here is a remake of a masterpiece. So yes, GTA 6, you know, for me it’s still there in an irreplaceable spot. In terms of hype, but it’s very important that we point this out here.
Everything we say here, guys, is just for fun, right? I see that sometimes you look at social media and people are fighting over this. “Oh no, Zelda is better.” Oh, no, GTA is bigger. Oh, but this one sold more. Oh, but this one sold less. Oh, but this was more important for the game’s mechanics. Oh, but this one was more important because of that other one. It doesn’t matter, guys. It’s not about measuring the size of, you know? That’s not what this is, man. Eh, at least in my view, no. I’m loving this moment. I’m loving that we have Ocarina of Time Remake. Loving that there will be GTA 6. Loving that there is Onimusha. Video games right now, guys, let’s love them. It’s not for fighting over, it’s for loving. Right? So let’s go together, let’s follow this moment together. I invite you all. I’ll cover it here on my channel too with you, of course. And without a doubt it will be an interesting race for awards, right? We don’t know the date yet. We’ll find out possibly in this direct. I mean, right? GTA 6 is set for November 19th. It very possibly might not make the cutoff date for The Game Awards, meaning it might not enter the gaming Oscars, you know, Geoff Keighley’s event at the end of this year. Then it would be for 2027. The same might happen with Zelda. We’ll find out the date now at the event, right? On the 8th, so we don’t know if it will come out in time for the awards. If it comes out, for example, in December, Zelda, it definitely won’t make it, right? GTA 6 will depend on when Rockstar sends it to the people who are part of The Game Awards jury. Flow Games is part of it, right? Right? So it will depend on when, how far in advance this code will arrive for the person to play, form an opinion on what’s GOTY, and send the votes to Geoff Keighley. Since it comes out right at the cutoff date for submissions, there’s a risk GTA 6 won’t get in this year. Then it’s left for 2027, folks, right? The same applies to Zelda. This same rationale I mentioned applies to Zelda here. But anyway, whatever it is, if one is left out of the race and the other gets in, then it’ll be, right? If GTA 6, for example, gets in and Zelda is left out, then GTA 6 takes it. If Zelda, say Zelda comes out before GTA 6, before November 19th, if Zelda gets in and GTA 6 is left out, Zelda has a great chance of taking it. If both compete in the same year, it will be very interesting for us to follow. Whatever it is, guys, there’s no need to care about awards. This is all, as I tell you, just us talking and having fun with the hype, right? Everyone has more or less hype for something, and it’s totally fine to express that. Now, regarding the importance of these two franchises, Zelda and GTA, each is revolutionary in different ways, right? Let’s love video games and not fight over them. Right, everyone? Before I wrap up this video, look, I want to make an announcement. I’ll post it here in the posts tab, in the channel’s community tab. Keep an eye out, everyone, because there will be a live stream for that second part of the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailers. Since you loved it and are asking in the comments, I’m going to announce when it will be. It will be this Saturday, September 5th, at 9 PM, Brasília time, all right? At 9 PM, this Saturday night, which is a day I know is good and many people prefer, since sometimes you’re off work and have more flexibility to be at home. So, if you’re free this Saturday, not going out or doing anything, I invite you to join me here. I’ll be doing a live stream reacting to the next three Red Dead Redemption 2 trailers. I did a nearly 3-hour live stream here, reacting to the first three trailers of the game. Now I’ll do the second part with the three following trailers before the launch. It had a total of six trailers, Red Dead Redemption 2. And now I’ll get to the best part because it’s gameplay. Let’s see. The first gameplay of the game, reviewing it, understanding how Rockstar built their strategy there, and what that may or may not mean for GTA 6. It’s very cool for us to revisit this to see how the brand changes over time. I love understanding brand strategies. And let’s revisit this masterpiece. Let’s try to transport everyone back in time, go back a little to what that moment was like when we saw that superb Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay. Let’s go together on the live stream, guys. We’ll watch the gameplay part one. It’s a video, about 5, 6 minutes long, no, 4, 5 minutes. Then there’s gameplay part two. That one does have about 5 or 6 minutes. And then we have the launch trailer, which is something more basic, right? That trailer gives a general overview, it’s about two minutes long, but this is going to be a long live stream, I’m counting on your support. It’s thanks to that I can keep bringing you this type of content, right? So, we have a date on September 5th, a Saturday, this September 5th, 2026, starting at 9 PM Brasília time. All right? That’s it, guys, and I invite everyone, if you’re not a member yet, we have Nintendo fans, Xbox fans, PC gamers, PlayStation fans, everyone is in the members’ area. We have an exclusive area on Telegram. The GTA 6 Ultimate Edition raffle for Xbox has been done, right? Wolverine is underway, okay? So, it’s a type of exclusive benefit for members. That Wolverine raffle is over. I’m going to announce another one, it will be GTA 6 again, this time the PlayStation Ultimate edition, okay, guys? So, if you want to become a member, the main thing is to support my independent work on this opinion channel, there’s a link right down here in the description, okay? And I also left my
